Occupational therapists and physical therapists often collaborate in health care.

In this episode, we introduce you to a pair of occupational therapists and a physical therapist who took collaboration to another level. They created a website called The Inspired Treehouse that provides fun, easy-to-implement activities designed to help children build strong, healthy bodies and minds through play.

The team behind The Inspired Treehouse includes occupational therapists Pam Braley, OT, and Claire Hefferon, OT, and physical therapist, Lauren Drobnjak, PT. All three have worked in the pediatric and school settings for the past seven years. In addition to creating The Inspired Treehouse to provide families with easy activities to do at home to help develop the skills of young children, the team also runs therapy playgroups during the summer that emphasize healthy development through play.
