In 2007, David Kendrick was stationed in Iraq when a sniper shot him in the legs.

After several surgeries, he wondered if he would ever walk again. David was depressed and scared to put weight on his injured limbs. But then David met some physical therapists who told him that his chance of recovery was good and made him believe again.

In this episode of Move Forward Radio, David shares his story of recovering from his injuries, and what he is doing today to inspire others.

David Kendrick is a wounded warrior Purple Heart recipient. He was honorably discharged from the Army after suffering gunshot injuries while in Iraq. He has also been awarded with the Army Achievement medal, the Army Accommodation medal, and the Golden Combat Spur. Today he is a student at DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia, and pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration. David is also the owner of Lion Speaking Agency, LLC, through which he is invited to speaking engagements to motivate and inspire audiences. He also helps promote the hiring of individuals with disabilities to government contractors.
